lily had to give the closing prayer in primary today. larry helped her but somehow she said
"we are thankful for cosmo"
which caused many to ponder.... who is cosmo?
did we get a new pet?
is she talking about the magazine?
cosmo from fairly odd parents?
the answer:
she was supposed to say "i'm thankful for the GOSPEL"
gospel, cosmo - they sound pretty similar....

All the kids were cracking up and looking around, like, "did she really just say cosmo?! What the heck is cosmo?" It was classic Lily. Good to know it was just a misunderstanding from Larry's prayer-coaching to Lily's prayer-giving. I thought maybe you got a dog named Cosmo over the weekend. !!!
Ha Ha! While I was in primary yesterday, I thought I heard the little girl giving a talk say something about Harry Potter? So, I guess it was one of those days.
That is really cute. I love it when kids say really cute things that get us to pay closer attention. I know that sometimes when I pray, my words don't come out as good as they sound in my head either. Thankfully, H.F. knows exactly what we are trying to say.
Lily rocks! It was really cute, but I was more impressed how she calmed down so quickly from crying to get up and give a prayer. =)
COSMO SHMOSMO... that is cute...
Rise and Shout! She's going to be a BYU Cougar, don't you know?! Cosmo is the mascot's name. It was very cute. I hope all the Primary giggles didn't discourage her, I thought she was great.
