larry was building a cabinet over the weekend and lily thought it was the coolest thing in the world to play in. for christmas this year we are just going to get her a bunch of boxes and a few cabinets. it will keep her busy for WEEKS!!
PS - don't you like the striped shirt and plaid shorts? she has taken to dressing herself lately. at least the color schemes are the same

It's the perfect size for her! BTW, is that the marble slab or the roll out pantry for YOUR kitchen, or a project for someone else's kitchen?
(ps, I think children dressing themselves is pretty great. when else in your lifetime is it going to be adorable to wear plaid with stripes?!)
Boxes are cheap and very effective at entertaining little kids... I say, go for it! It was great to see you the other night... we need to hang out more often!
That is so much fun! I love it when kids give us easy ideas for gifts...like one year Emily told us that she just wanted Toys R Us' big book of toys catalog...until she realized that the toys don't come with it.
and the outfits are CLASSIC.
